Place: Cortes de la Frontera, located 40 km. from Ronda along the local road (See route MA-2 for information on Ronda).

Access: By car. By bus from Málaga. Train to the railway station, 6 km away.

Duration:  Two hours.

Description:

From Cortes a trail branches off heading north to the Rosario farm. Continue upwards for 2 km until reaching an inclined path leading to foothills of the Sierra Blanquilla and the Cerros del Espino (1309 m). The view from the top includes sections of the Guadiaro Valley. Stay on this path to reach the top of this summit; off to the right one reaches the Llanos de Líbar. Continue from here, off the path, to the Llanos farmstead.

This route links up with MA-2 and other routes of the interior of Cádiz.
